Indian Engineers have been mavericks at the art of Jugad. They have changed the entire outlook of the western world towards India.

Our country with all its differences has stayed one

These are just some of the examples that i have quoted to bring to your notice about Jugad. Part of the reason why we are capable of doing these extraordinary things is the highly competitive environment in which we are brought up. We are made to learn at a very young age to somehow adapt to our surrounding & fight it out(Jugad). The words that i could relate to Jugad are alternative arrangement(innovate), source, approach, and i think there might be more words in which each person associates with Jugad. For me Jugad is born out of the culture of scarcity of resources & survival and if we look closely at our surroundings we would find this art at work.
